Directions to the Homestead

Find Show Low, Arizona
Go east on U.S. 60 towards Springerville and Eagar, AZ.
Turn off the main highway at mile post 372
(about 30 miles from Show Low and 11 miles before Springerville.
This is forest Road 117.
Travel 3 miles south on the dirt road to the Whiting Homestead sign.
Turn right, west, travel about 3 more miles and you are there.
The exact coordinates of Mile Marker 117 are: 34.240120,-109.511540

Places to Stay Near the Homestead

There will be plenty of room at the homestead for anyone who wishes to camp under the stars, use a tent, trailer, or motor home.

But for those who do not wish to camp, there are many motels within easy driving distance of the homestead. You will need to make reservations well in advance of the 2008 reunion - summertime is busy.
