The Whiting Village

The Village will be a re-creation of Whiting history - past to present.  From the written and verbal histories of our progenitors, we have compiled enough information to  be able to re-create the atmosphere and activities that were commonplace to earlier generations, plus highlight a few modern advances.

The Whiting Village will be held both Friday and Saturday from
  • 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
  • 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

  1. Angela Smithson will demonstrate Ableskivers.  
    We still need volunteers to demonstrate meatballs called Frikadeller with brown gravy sauce, plus Bread, and Clabber.
  2. The caterers will provide the mechanical ponies.  We need people to run this event.
